The paramitas are beneficial actions carried out on the basis of the practice of compassion, which transcend our personal interest. They are also based on wisdom that perceives phenomena in their ultimate dimension as they truly are. For this reason, they make up the primary practice of the great vehicle (Mahayana) when applied at the heart of our daily lives. In this way, the paramitas transform our ex-istence into a path toward enlightenmen. Lama Jampa Thaye will first explain the general meaning of the paramitas and then gived detailed explanations of each one in order to give us a complete vision of the path of the bodhisattvas.

Lama Jampa Thaye is a scholar and meditation master and regent of Karma Tinley Rinpoche, a master of the Sakya and Karma Kagyu traditions. Of British origin, he is the author of several works on Buddhism.

The teaching is given in French and English and will be available on Dhagpo’s YouTube Channel.
A translation into Spanish will be streamed simultaneously on the YouTube Channel DKL Traduction.
German translation will be available on the YouTube Channel DKL Translation.

We have opted for a non-simultaneous French-English translation, which offers a slower rhythm and allows for more focused listening.
