17th Gyalwa Karmapa"Buddhism is a way of life through which we develop the qualities of our mind.
This way of life is very unusual, as it is a means to attain happiness without harming others.

* Message from the Karma Samphel Ling Center - Vienna / Austria

Dear friends,

During the Kagyu Moenlam, which will take place in December 2019 in Bodhgaya under the leadership of H.H. 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, there will maybe also a Puja for the Deceased. The exact time has not yet been set.

The Puja is dedicated to the wellbeing of all deceased beings. Because of the wishes, it will help them during their time in the Bardo to overcome hindrances which they may encounter, and to find good circumstances and a favorable rebirth.

At the end of the Puja H.H. 17th Gyalwa Karmapa will burn the names of all the deceased in a vase.

You can send us the names of deceased individuals. We will collect them and send them to India, so that they are included in the prayers and the Puja for the Deceased during the Kagyu Monlam.

We have installed a web-formular:

You can add all deceased beings, not just the ones who passed away recently. If you have added names of deceased already to the list in previous years, then it is not necessary to fill out the web-formular again.

Please note: Deadline is November 30th, 2019.

Names added after this date cannot be sent.

More information about Kagyu Moenlam and in particular H.H. 17th Gyalwa Karmapa's explanations can be found here:
