17th Gyalwa Karmapa"Buddhism is a way of life through which we develop the qualities of our mind.
This way of life is very unusual, as it is a means to attain happiness without harming others.

THE 17th GYALWA KARMAPA

Last August, a crew from the Sagesses Bouddhistes (‘Buddhist Wisdoms’) weekly programme on France 2 came to make a documentary on Dhagpo’s library.

Open to everyone since 2013, the library’s mission is to safeguard a specific Buddhist documentary collection in order to make it accessible to the largest number. The book, whether in its traditional or modern format, has always been a powerful instrument for disseminating knowledge. The Buddhist texts, which convey humanist values and universal principles, can bring answers to a number of current Western questions and issues across multiple fields: education, medicine, psychology, etc.

Take a moment to discover the library’s data base.

The documentary will air on Sunday 23 June at 8:30 (CET) on France 2.
REPLAY available for 7 days on the programme’s site.
