17th Gyalwa Karmapa"Buddhism is a way of life through which we develop the qualities of our mind.
This way of life is very unusual, as it is a means to attain happiness without harming others.

THE 17th GYALWA KARMAPA

For the fifth consecutive year, Dhagpo's volunteers, committed to the various aspects of practice, go into retreat for the month of January to study Buddhist philosophy. This cycle of studies began several years ago upon Jigme Rinpoche's initiative so that students could achieve a deeper understanding of philosophical texts.

This year, we continue the study of the Abhidharmakosha led by Acharya Kalzang Puntso from Kalimpong shedra. This text requires our full attention, in addition to the patience of the teacher and translator transmitting it. We are all profoundly rejoicing in this opportunity to better understand the Buddha's teaching.
