17th Gyalwa Karmapa"Buddhism is a way of life through which we develop the qualities of our mind.
This way of life is very unusual, as it is a means to attain happiness without harming others.

THE 17th GYALWA KARMAPA

Homage to Gendun Rinpoche (1918–1997) A Day of Practice

Homage to Gendun Rinpoche
(1918–1997)

October 31, 1997 Gendun Rinpoche's parinirvana took place. Twenty years have now passed since he left us after devoting the last part of his life to transmitting Buddhism in France and in Europe. A greatly accomplished practitioner sent by the Gyalwa Karmapa, he allowed thousands of Westerners to commit to and practice the Buddha's path. This year, we will celebrate the memory of this exceptional being with several events.

A Day of Practice in Homage to Gendun Rinpoche

Throughout the day, Gendun Rinpoche's disciples will lead accumulations of Chenrezig's mantra and celebrate offering feasts to Milarepa. These two meditation practices were dear to Rinpoche. We invite everyone to take part in this mani accumulation, in group or on your own.
