17th Gyalwa Karmapa"Buddhism is a way of life through which we develop the qualities of our mind.
This way of life is very unusual, as it is a means to attain happiness without harming others.

Teaching on Royal Chenrezig

Chenrezig represents universal compassion and om mani peme hung is the mantra associated with him. Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche transmitted Royal Chenrezig practice in June 2012. During this course we will explain in detail the meaning of each phase and study the ritual aspects of the practice.

Lama Nyigyam, a retreat participant of Sharminub Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal and retreat master in Parping, Nepal, draws ever-growing appreciation from those who meet him and follow his teachings.

For the past several years, he has regularly visited European centers. Despite our many requests, Lama Nyigyam is unable to tour as extensively as in previous years. In February, he is receiving the transmission of teachings from Khenpo Chodrak Rinpoche in Nepal, and, in April, he is accompanying Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, on his journey to Hong Kong.

As a result, Lama Nyigyam will guide the Nyung Nay retreat at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling as planned (from March 10–26), but he will be unable to lead the 16th Karmapa’s Guru Yoga Retreat (April 11–15), nor that of Royal Tradition of Chenrezig (April 23–27). The two retreats will take place nonetheless; Lama Kyenrab will guide the first and Lama Puntso the second.
