THE 17th GYALWA KARMAPA

The Path Begins Where We Are: The Four Thoughts That Turn the Mind Toward Enlightenment

Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8

To undertake the spiritual path, we must begin where we are. The Buddha offers us various reflections that lead us to become aware of our true situation. He teaches impermanence to question our resistance to change. He teaches karma to make us aware of our responsibilities. To give the path meaning, he redefines dissatisfaction and suffering. Lastly, precious human existence shows us the conditions within our reach to walk the path. Khenpo Chochok introduces these four reflections that make up the foundation of the Buddhist path and explains how to apply them.
